Hi All As you know I failed the smog test, so I did a tune up and I must say the Shelby Lancer now runs REALLY GOOD!! the best in years. I have not retested it yet, and hope it passes. Before the plugs,cap, rotor, wires, and "used" (taken from my GLHS when I add a adjustable one to the GLHS) fuel regulator was put in, the car would start by just turning the key, now I need to petal the gas petal if you know what I mean. I can hear the fuel pump prime like it always had, but I need to pump the gas petal to get it to start. any ideas? somehow I think its the fuel regulator not holding the presser when the car is turned off.
