You can tell if the fuel pressure is being lost by cycling the pump a few times 
before starting the car. Turn the key to ignition without engaging the starter 
and turn the key back to off three or four times right before starting the car. 
If it starts right up then pressure is, indeed, being lost by the FPR or the 
pump itself when the car sits.

Simple and easy test, please let us know the results!
