Hi Nick,

We currently don't have the application compiled for Linux but plan to do so
for the next release of the application in a number of weeks. Also, could
you let me know which windows update it was that appeared to fix your COM
Port problem?

Regards,

Karol

Seemed to be fixed with an update to my windows. Just wondering but i prefer
to use linux. Is it possible to compile the application for linux since
Labview runs on linux as well?

Much Thanks,

Nick

Have you installed the National instruments VISA Runtime Engine, if not you
need to? This is outlined in the installation instructions in the user
manual.

So i installed bluetooth on windows xp fine and connected to the shimmer. It
gave me the signal strength and com number. Then i ran the shimmer 9dof
calibration app but there are no COM numbers displayed. If i manually type
it in it doesnt work. Not sure if im doing something wrong here.
