Sorry to flog this one, but alas, Shindig's charter is explicitly to implement
an existing spec rather than to define it. That said, unlike the OpenSocial
spec we need an appropriate forum in which to discuss Gadget XML spec and
potential extensions. As commented in SHINDIG-30, I'll be writing an initial
XSD (and textual description) of that this week.
I'll consider this a TODO to find a reasonable home for Gadget Spec items, and
resolve the issue once one is created with this suggestion bootstrapping it.
