[+shindig-dev, This doesn't belong on shindig-private] A sample running on ASF infrastructure probably isn't going to happen. Continuous integration will, but it's not really reasonable to expect apache infrastructure to maintain the kind of secure setup that an opensocial container needs, and it'd be far too easy for someone to screw it up to subject said infrastructure to those kinds of security risks. There's really no strong reason for running a shindig build on apache infrastructure, and that wasn't the reason for requesting the zone in the first place.
