I've went through these instructions (both java and php) fairly recently, and they did work for me. But a few remarks: - the examples (with the labpixies application) gives some javascript errors when it tries to save the settings. It's quite distracting for the first time user. Either another example should be chosen, or it should be mentioned in the document. - it would be nice to mention where to look for the examples, that are packaged with shindig. - also the examples could be revisites, some does not work flawlessly - on the php side I'd might mention how one configures the autoloader to load his implementation classes. Usually this is the first step one makes when trying to implement shindig. -- Nagy Attila Gabor
