Hey folks, Incubator documentation is horrible to navigate, I know, but at this point I think it'd be good if a few people took a look at
http://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html Since I imagine/hope there is/will be a bit of a push for publicity surrounding the 1.0 release! For example you might want to * touch base with the apache public relations committee (p...@apache.org) (see if you can get a blog post on the ASF blog for example) * make a concerted effort to refer to "Apache Shindig 1.0-incubating" everywhere ("Apache Shindig" is the name you want to have stick, the "Incubator" bit will go away eventually) * see if one or more of your respective companies want to issue a press release (be sure to follow the "incubation disclaimer" rules and have your PR folks work with PRC!) Now, while you're at it, please also * add that infamous incubator disclaimer to the shindig website (and avoid wrath of the powers-that-be :-)) cheers, - Leo
