Hello,

I agree with pushing minimal version to 2.6. People with RHEL5 can always
install python2.6 if they really want to.
"Even" (ahah troll :p) debian squeeze supports python 2.6 & 2.7.

Maybe we could focus on "good" (let's define good ... ) compatibility with
the "last" 2 majors release of popular distro ( debian, redhat, centos,
suse ... ) ?
