Hi Len! If you're trying to build it from source, check out the list of required packages (unfortunately only lists for fedora/redhat and ubuntu/debian), but it is located at shoes/platform/nix/INSTALL in your source code checkout.
If you could get some of the details of the other error messages, that would be swank.
