tldr: GSoC starts! Let’s get going! Dear all,
GSoC is starting and we’re really excited to have Sanuj, Zora, Saurabh and Ariane coding with us! Here’s a short reminder of what’s happening during GSoC: - over the last weeks we planned WHAT to do and HOW it will be done, now is the time to DO IT :) - students work on their projects full time(!) - students hang out in IRC during your working hours so everyone can help each other, and you can talk to the mentors as often as possible. A lively IRC contributes much to the community feel and we hope it’s going to be buzzing - students contribute 2-3 cookbook patches per week. (Please talk amongst yourselves so everyone knows who’s going to do what.) all students: from next Monday on, please write a short (really. no essays) email of what you’ve done last week and what’s your plan for the coming week so we can see everyone progress nicely. - tomorrow, Tuesday 24th May, 3pm (UTC) is our kickoff meeting where we can discuss the details of the above.
