Keep in mind that rear CG effect is pretty much ONLY on the shaft when

Tom,

Another question regarding CG on woods and irons for that matter. How much movement of CG results in a significant, observable, measurable change. I once added 10 grams total weight in mouse glue/tungsten combination to the inside top of a Taylor 360 which moved the vertical CG up about 1.5 to 2 mm. Is that a significant distance? How much of an effect will the new Taylor Made 500 series variable rear CG adjustment have? The Taylor rep tells me that this is preset at the factory depending on the model shaft used. Is this more marketing or real deal effect?
Thanks.
