Followup to my previous posts:

I've played with the reshafted club two rounds now, and hit it five times in
real play. It's a completely different club from before the reshaft. Still
the same average distance, and still the same intended use, but it's much
more predictable now.

The shots and uses:

* It's my 210-215yd club, at 18 degrees of loft. I had a 225yd shot downwind
from the fairway. Finished hole high 15 feet right of the pin.

* It's my biggest-distance-from-down-in-the-rough club. I had three shots
where the distance called for a 3-wood or more, but were too deep in the
rough for a 3w. All went 190-205 yards and straight, all I could ask under
the circumstances.

* I had a tee shot where distance is good (a par-5) but right is in a lake
and there are trees close left. I usually find this a very awkward tee shot
because I hit a fade and it calls for a draw. With the the reshafted Rescue,
hugged the trees left and hit it straight. Put it in the middle 210yds down
the fairway.

No bad shots with it yet. That's a far cry from the way it behaved when the
shaft was 17cpm stiffer.

Cheers!
