Although it's not an actual TM Rescue, I reshafted a 21 dynacraft Jackaroo
at the beginning of the season, and I haven't looked back. The Jackaroo
was originally shafted with an Apache PM-30 R flex iron shaft, trimmed
based on the 2 iron trimming instructions from Dynacraft. The club had a
frequency of 289, which fell pretty much right in line with the rest of my
irons and the 3 iron that it replaced.

The club performed well for me, well enough to stay in the bag for over a
season (pretty good for a club ho like me). However, I longed for a little
higher trajectory, and a club that behaved more like a wood than an
iron. Last fall I reshafted a coworker's orlimar+ driver that had an EI-70
+ stiff shaft. I kept the shaft as I really wanted to try a wood shaft in
the Jackaroo, and the orlimar's have a .369 diameter hosel. This worked
out great as the EI-70 just happens to still be my favorite wood
shaft. Tipping the shaft all the way to the last usable part of the
parallel tip yielded a frequency of 270 at (I think, can't remember exactly
now) 41". This falls in line pretty well with my woods.

The bottom line is that I now have a utility club that plays more like a
wood than an iron, and is exactly what I was looking for.
