FWIW,

I used to use Netscape, (have always disliked MSIE), - but now use Mozilla as
one of my main browsers. Mozilla, is based on the Gecko (or is it Gecko?)
"engine", both being from the folks at Netscape, except that it was for the
most part developed by the hacker community (note, - hackers are honest,
dedicated programmers, working for free, for the love of the craft, - as
opposed to the mis-use of the word by the media. When they (the media) write
or say "hacker", they are actually referring to the cyber-vandals, more
comonly called "crackers", or "script kiddies". A completely erroneous use
of the word "hacker".). So you can expect Mozilla (and now the part of
Netscape that uses the same engine) to be a high quality product, one that is
very standards compliant, and is for the most part, devoid of "sinister"
components. I refer only to Mozilla here. AOL is still the distributor of
Netscrape, - hence, it may contain elements that some may object to.
Mozilla, on the other hand, is distributed at http://www.mozilla.org (and
other places), and can be believed to be "clean".

Mozilla is very customizable, and perhaps has a better import utility than
does Netscrape. (IMHO). One is able to set a considerable number of
performance items in Mozilla, and for that reason, you have considerable
control of your privacy, as well as overall performance.

Sorry about the "rampling", - but I really like this browsing tool. It is
available for all the popular operating systems, and works very well. I
believe if you like Netscape, you will like Mozilla even better.

I hope you find this info usefull.

Cheers,

Jorgen
