I
think what you are looking for is http://www.customclubcoatings.com/
One of the guys on PCS Chat recommended them. When I took the Golfsmith
course several years ago, they made a point of telling us that the TaylorMade
head color is patented. I know lots of folks make lookalikes, but you may
have trouble getting the exact same color as the OEM. In our class
we sandblasted a head and get it ready for priming as an
exercise.
Golfsmith charges $31 to refinish a metal wood, but it takes 3-4 weeks -
Maybe that's how long it takes for the classes to cycle through and do the
sandblasting. <GRIN>
Golfworks charges $39.50 to refinish, and in their catalog they even show
an example that sure looks like a TM head to me.
For my
money, I'd rather pay them to do it, but then again, I've always hated painting
stuff....houses, walls, stuff like that...although I did paint a car once.
The finish didn't even wash off in the next rainstorm.

The original site is set up for customers sending heads to be redone. When you click on the colors chart it sends you to their supplier. I am going into a new shop in a short while and will send some heads for a test, but powder coating makes a lot of sense to me.
