  The main difference between powder coating and painting is the durability of the finish. When a player Tees the ball and leans on the club toe down the painted finish has a tendeny to chip whereas the powder coating is more durable and sky marks are also minimized. My guy is in the car business and did clubs on the side for another clubmaker, we are going to experiment with the powder coating process.
