I think the question pertains to shafts that are “discrete” flex rather than “combination” flex. A discrete flex shaft could be a R, S, L or A whereas combo’s are L/A or R/S. Combo’s have two trims one for the softer flex and another for the stiffer flex. Discrete flex have one set of tip trims. The actual tip trim is determined by the manufacturer. Without knowing any more that is about all I can offer.
