I didn't join any of them. Two would not give me details, and I didn't like the details for the other two. Specifically, what I did not like:
(1) There were few courses in my vicinity, or places where I would normally travel. Of course, YMMV. That's why you need the details. If they won't give you a list, don't even consider it.
(2) The courses that participated tended to be expensive resort courses. Even with the discount, it would be more than I usually pay for golf. (Yes I'll pay more for a special occasion. But there is no way that I'd ever make such a membership pay, for any reasonable definition of the word "pay".)
(3) Related to the nature of the courses, almost all were carts only. Some that were not explicitly carts only said that the discount was only on the greens fee, not the cart fee (and implied that the cart fee -- and probably the cart -- was mandatory). I don't like cart golf the vast majority of the time.
So it was not for me. Only you can decide if it's for you.
Good luck!

Does anybody have any comments about PGA Tour Partners Membership? Couldn't find anything in the archives. Is anybody a member? My brother joined it and is trying to get me to join ( Sounds like they offered him a commission). I'm mainly interested in the "up to 50% off" course discounts. An Internet search didn't result in anything more then general membership info and cost. Couldn't find a list of discount courses anywhere. That usually means that 1 course is 50% off and the others are 5% off. He also said that he received 4 $10 off coupons good at ANY golf course nationwide. He lives in Los Angeles so maybe there are some courses there that offer discounts. I live near Buffalo so my guess is no one offers PGA Tour discounts here They also state that you get to demo and keep golf items, but if I recall that was a sham. Thanks Bob Sielski
