I've built the 3-5-7 Trouble Outs for my own use.  I've used the filament-wound Golfworks shaft (I forget the model #, but I think GW only brands one FW shaft) for all of them.  If I remember correctly, the shaft sells for less than $20.  I flat love these clubs, and would build a driver version if I could get my hands on a 10 or 10.5 version of the Trouble Out.  I know they made one for awhile, but quickly dropped it from the line.  My ball flight is lower with the GW shafts than it was with an Apache M-58 or a TT EI-70.

Regards,

Ron Kellison

I made a couple of fairway woods last year using the Golfworks Trouble Out Fairway heads.
Those of you who have built these, what shaft have you found to work well with them?

Thanks,
