Shaft A is labeled S at 280 cpm's. Stiff iron = 289 - 299 Stiff wood =249 - 259
Shaft B is labeled XX at 280 cpm's.
Both shafts are from the same company

I would question the company. Could be a misprint.  Just had a customer in today with Taylor Made R-80 that measured Senior Flex. Don't believe everything you read!
I have private label shafts marked as follows: stiff, X stiff, XX stiff, Tour Stiff, Pro Tour Stiff.  That way a lady with a clubhead speed of 46-55 MPH gets a Stiff Shaft. Senior Players get X Stiff, 75- 80 MPH gets XX Stiff, 85-90 MPH gets Tour Stiff, 95+ MPH gets Pro Tour Stiff. Everyone is happy! Everone gets Stiff(ed)! The brand is Niagara!
