that little black thing on the sole plate that looks like a plug? Is
it a plug?
The small black "dot" is a plug!. Drill it out with a sharp drill bit slow feed so as NOT to push this plug into the head. Apply rattlestop, replug and when epoxy is cured polish off the new plug to blend with the sole.
