I have tried tip trimming Mach 22's (old version) a number of times, but I
found the results were unpredictable. Unlike other other shafts, the
frequency did not always go up. The shafts performed well though, & I tried
to keep enough stock in a variety of flexes to get the desired results. I
have also found that all Precision Composites shhafts had negligible spines.
