Well, at least one: me :)

Richard, I have a couple of thoughts I'd like to share.

1st is about clubmaking. What I find fascinating in it is the unique blend of science
and art; so many scientific and measurable parameters, and still a lot of shades and
nuances that call for an artist to make a real good job. What I like about this ML is
that all and every aspect of clubmaking are here represented: from the "hands on",
skilled craftsman to the enthusiast engineer, who tries to identify an analytical
approach. *Both* make the ML so enjoiable and useful.

2nd is about discussion. I'd love to see discussion about ideas, not people. We can
argue as hard as you like, but please don't get personal. I remember pretty well that
you even arrived to decided to leave ST, at one time, and I'm happy you're back, as I
find your contributions among the best on the ML; but at the same time I learned a lot
from DaveT, as IMO he helped a lot to clean out the air from some foggyness and false
myths about the science of a golf club.

Both you folks are equally needed on this forum, as all the other people here,
knowledgeable or less; as we all have something to learn from someone else...

Then, my opinion about torque: it plays a big role in the swing, because of the effect
on the feel. No real mechanical reason; and this doesn't mean that the effect is less
important. And so I can agree with you both...

Sorry for the length.

Ciao,
Marcello
