Arnie is rising up the Curmudgeon of the Year charts with this one :-) ... I really don't think it's wrong to expect a dealer or distributor to provide a copy of a letter like this. The reality is -- if it's not on the non-conforming list, it's conforming.

Especially weights both within spec -- and even hand selecting iron heads with an even 7-gram weight distribution. When this is done, there's a lot less work required by the amateur and even professional clubmaker

Curmudgeon of the Year   ................  I would accept the award however, in the past two weeks building 27 iron sets, 16 woods, regripping 31 sets, replacing 19 shafts and delivering everything the next day leaves me little time for things like sleep and attending "award events". It's the season and all the work is better than gazing out the front door at a snow storm! I like getting paid for the work rather than paying a supplier to do it for me!  If I were a supplier I would simply charge you double for anything beyond acceptable tolerances. In fact your supplier who provides these services is most likely already charging you while laughing his way to the bank and at you for thinking he really is checking the loft and lie for you. You should be custom bending every set you produce. As for weights of the heads, "your scale is not correct" becomes the standard answer when you question their weights with a tolerance of +/- 2-3 grams (be sure to read the fine print) Please let me know who your suppliers are so I can avoid their high prices.

If the "awards dinner" is in Jan. or Feb. I will be happy to accept my award!
