So many great courses in the area, Ron. The instant you hit town, check with a nearby shop "Roger Dunn's" where they have an abundance of golf equipment, new and used, as well as (free) course guides, directories, etc., and a bunch of enthusiastic salespeople who are not overly pushy. They will share some of their local secrets with you.

Within 15 miles, there's everything from municipal walk-on's to premium resort-style courses like Pelican Hill ($$$$).

Merry Christmas to all you Shoptalker's!

My family and I are heading down to Disneyland from the 26th until January
3rd, and I was hoping to take the clubs along to play at least one round
of golf. I was wondering if there are any suggestions for reasonable
(price & difficulty) courses close by? I haven't swung the clubs in about
a month, and I am a mid handicapper (usually shoot in about the mid 80's),
but I can't pass up on the chance to at least play one round of golf when
I am down there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
