it has no stabilizing bar that runs under the screw so it bound and
is locked up tight. It is on its way back to golfsmith for repairs and
ultimately headed for ebay!!!
You have to use some heat to breakdown the epoxy! LOL
Don't send it back so fast! First try some penetrating oil, let it soak in the threads then UNSCREW IT. If that fails after a few tries apply heat to the part that the threaded rod goes into. Heat, put away torch or heat gun and then UNSCREW.
Once it is freed up put some toothpaste on the threads (yes, toothpaste) work the screw back and forth several times till it moves easily. Wipe off toothpaste and apply some grease to the threads.
Now sell it on ebay!
