Mac OSX has a great e-mail program called (funny enough) Mail. It has a great spam filter built-in and is easy to use. You will find it in the "Applications" folder. Double click to start-up and enter the appropriate information and you are off to the races. You can drag the icon down to your "dock" Probably on the bottom of your screen and it will be there for quick access.
