Hi Jent's.
I had a Gateway Tour player who I do work for bring in his colleague the other day, the colleague had just come from a fitting at Taylormade where they wired up his body at different points and had him hit balls and it supposedly gave a graphic presentation of his swing as well as all the launch parameters in a NASA like simulator, sorry but I don't know any more about it than that.
He had the driver they fitted him for and asked me to check it.
It was an r 510 with a Mitsubishi rayon shaft, it was 44.75" and freqed at 267 and had no flo, in fact it was a flopper.
I put it in the Neu II Royce built me and found that the shaft was only . 005 out of round which is really good and located the low point or n1 and found good flo with it at the target.
He asked me to pull the head and set it up right but I marked it instead and told him to have TaylorMade do it as I wasn't sure at what temp. Rayon melted.
At any rate to shorten an already long story, I've been trying to learn more about these shafts and was hoping someone out there had some comments.
According to what I could find online Vijay Singh used this shaft in the Phoenix Open.
I know that Mitsubishi used to be the parent co. of Paragon golf shafts but so far have been unable to locate Paragons web site.
