Hi Keith, I pulled a few of my son's a couple of years ago to spine and align them properly. I made notes, but cannot find them. I can't spare the time to locate it.
I found there was a steel shaft inside the fat graphite running some 6" above the hosel into the hosel. The fat part did not go down inside. Has anyone here successfully removed the heads from these irons and then re-installed them? I am led to believe that there is a plastic plug that joins the head and shaft, and I am worried that I will melt or deform it during the removal process.
