Hi RK,

I must be missing something, because I don't see anything like the Butler
ferrule at Pro-Swing. I see what they call wood inserts, or what I would
call collared ferrules, but these are not like the Butler. The Butler
ferrule has parallel sides the full length and I'd say it is a little wider
than the OD of a typical wood hosel. There is no lip on it and no taper,
except a very small 45 bevel at the top. It is shaped like this (I hope
this comes through). F is the ferrule, c is the crown of the head, h is the
hosel, s is the sole plate and * is the shaft.

           ***
           ***
         FFFFFFF
        F *** F
ccccccccF *** Fccccccccc
       cF *** Fc
        FFFFFFFFF
        hhhhhhhhh
        h *** h
        h *** h
        h *** h
        h *** h
        h *** h
        h *** h
        h *** h
        h *** h
sssssssssssssssssssssssssss
