Greg,

I've been playing a thin-faced, titanium Integra Super 450 since the year
they were introduced...think that was at least 4 years ago. Haven't seen any
noticeable drop-off in distance that I can't attribute to a couple of
surgeries and going from age 65 to 70. Had a drive last week moderately
uphill and against a slight breeze that went 274 yards, a couple yesterday
that went over my original average of 255. That original head (with SP700 on
the toe end) had a face that was too thin for most of the stronger hitters,
but perfect for me and many other seniors. I had to send back at least 4
with the face crushed of maybe 30 heads I used for long drivers. Then,
Integra beefed up the
face (no SP700 on toe end) and the head isn't nearly as good as far as I'm
concerned. Could be that I haven't hit 2000 balls with my original, but
played over 150 rounds a year with it for 3 years and over 75 rounds the
last couple of (surgery-interrupted) years. Warm up with it and practice
with it, though don't hit as many balls as with my irons...don't need to,
it's as long and as accurate a driver as I've ever played and haven't found
any better one yet.

Bernie
