NOT TRUE!



shops tape up new clubs and allow customers to hit 30 balls then take the
tape off and sell them as new

THIS IS DONE SO THAT THE CLUBS WILL REMAIN IN NEW CONDITION. Also it saves the labor of removing ball and tee marks.
It won't help the clubs that customers(?) hit the ball off the crown leaving dents and a "thank you but I don't think this club is right for me".



There must be a better way to get a "discount". But, nice try!
