I HAVE A TWO TEMP HEAT GUN THAT I USE WITH MY GOLFSMITH HEAD EXTRACTOR. MY ROUTINE IS TO HEAT THE HOSEL USING THE HIGH TEMP OPTION, OUT OF THE EXTRACTOR, FOR FIVE MINUTES, MAKING SURE THAT I HEAT IT EVENLY ALL THE WAY AROUND. WHEN MY TIMER GOES OFF I PLACE THE CLUB IN THE HEAD EXTRACTOR, TIGHTEN THE TENSION, AND WAIT FOR THE SPRING TO LOOSEN THE HEAD. DOING IT THIS WAY I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH DAMAGED SHAFT TIPS.

I have a heavy duty heat gun and I've yet to be successful (or patient enough) in pulling a head with this method. Just wondering what the average time is for heating the hosel before trying to pull the head.

Where is it okay to be teed off, tote a six-iron, shoot birdies, and if you're
under par it's a great day?
