Tom Wishon has a new shaft, the GI-335 graphite, that he has designed improve the launch angle of the his hybrid clubs. He also recommends using this shaft is irons to accomplish the same thing. His recommended method of shimming is using a coiled shim.
This is great so far but what about a ferrule? I checked all my catalogs and couldn't find a .335 i.d. wood ferrule that is anyways near the o.d. of most iron hosels. I'd like to hear what those of you who have run across this problem have come up with as a solution. TIA, GregZ
