Thanks Jack, unfortunately the club I'm putting the GI-335 in is a Snake Eyes 650TH which has a hosel OD of 14 mm.

He also recommends using this shaft is irons to accomplish the same thing. His recommended method of shimming is using a coiled shim. This is great so far but what about a ferrule? I checked all my catalogs and couldn't find a .335 i.d. wood ferrule that is anyways near the o.d. of most iron hosels.
