I believe you would be better off with the GW Value line. A little more
expensive but you'll be able to measure face angle ,face progression and offset
as well.

Subject: ShopTalk: Golfsmith - Ecomony Loft Lie Gauge

  Hi All:
Have any of you used either one of the Golfsmith inexpensive loft & lie
gauges on this page? link below.

  http://www.golfsmith.com/cm/browse.php?N=1532536

I recently purchased an electronic digital angle gauge, and I am looking for
a fixture that can hold a club in the proper position, so I can accurately
measure the loft on clubs.
When I retired I sold my Mitchell L / L , and I am looking for a way to check
loft on
  clubs.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

  Regards,
  Bob
