JMHO, but I don't think he is being a wise ass and I don't think it is tech 
bullshit.

I am pretty sure that if you have two shafts with 250 cpm butt frequency and 
the mid sections of the shafts are 40 cpms different and the tip sections are 
75 cpm different those two shafts are not going to play the same or feel the 
same. 

So how would you label them?
