The only way that would be possible would be if I packaged your releases
as "native" (meaning that I do not add the "-n" to indicate a Debian
revision).  However, that brings with it lots of other issues and I
would rather not do that.  Additionally, I do not think that a.b.c-d
would be valid as a native version number.  The way that version numbers
are parsed, is that if any hyphen characters are present, then
everything after the last hyphen is the Debian revision.  If no Debian
revision is present, then the package is considered native.  So, two or
more hyphens are permissible, but the presence of any hyphens prevents
the package from being considered native.
