Boot up to runlevel 1 and disable Shorewall startup. Reboot the system up to its normal runlevel. If it won't come up to that runlevel then you have other problems. Once the system is up, "/sbin/shorewall trace start 2> trace" and look at the trace file. You will be able to see where it is stopping. > > Further, answer a few questions: > > 1.
