the patch file itself gave me a error but I manually patched providers.pm and 
this actually solves the problem, yes!

Thanks a lot for your help! Wouldn't have found this on my own.. I guess our 
provider (unitymedia in Germany) 
changed some settings so that this route wasn't set via DHCP anymore.
