HTML in email, when plain text will suffice, is generally viewed as bad 
etiquette.  Similarly for RTF.  One atop the other is un-etiquette squared.  
Can HTML be turned off in your mailer?  RTF?

Also, if you have Web space, as provided by many ISPs, you might consider 
putting a dump there and providing a link in the pertinent emessage.

None of this is catastrophic.  Hopefully a learning process.
