Yep -- and I suspect that someone at Slackware finally came to their senses and 
invoke that script *before* starting OpenVPN.

It is not my responsibility to police the order in which all distributions 
(including Arch and Slackware) start services at boot. If you have a problem 
with that order, I can't change it -- only the distro can.
