With this error: iptables v1.4.16.3: can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?) Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
Recheck your kernel configuration and ensure NAT is enabled. They moved around the kernel modules for iptables and NAT was moved and unselected, even though it was and upgrade for the kernel. I've upgraded and sorry to say, the exact same thing is still happening. The output of shorewall trace check also looks very similar, although I haven't carefully compared the two.
