Both 'params' and 'shorewall.conf' are processed by the shell and
therefore cannot contain ?IF/?ENDIF blocks. Also note that 'params' is
processed before 'shorewall.conf', so settings from that file are not
available unless your params file sources shorewall.conf.

'params' may, of course, use any of the shell's conditionals ('if ....;
then...fi', etc).
