Unfortunately, the only shorewall logfile is shorewall-init.log but not other logfiles.
I set the additional logging (/var/log/shorewall.log) but that file is never created.
It seems that my shorewall version (4.5.5.3) on Debian Wheezy ARM is not working correctly.
The VPN client still can't connect to the openVPN server when activating Shorewall (used Angela's and Ahmed's latest tips).

If the client can't connect, which is what I assume you mean when you
say "it doesn't work" then you should have something in the shorewall
log that will give you a clue as to why. In any event, you can enable
logging in OpenVPN and between that and the shorewall logs, you should
be able to figure out what is missing.
