I have confirmed that there is a defect in the compiler's handling of a
physical name in a masq record. When such a name is used, a Perl
diagnostic is issued while processing the record, and the generated MASQ
chain and rule are dropped by the optimizer.

With UMB_IF in the masq record, you should have internet access from
10.0.0.0/24.
