Paolo replied privately that he is only concerned about the journal
message. That message can be eliminated as follows:

a) Copy /usr/share/shorewall/helpers /etc/shorewall/.
b) Edit /etc/shorewall/helpers and remove this line:

        loadmodule ipt_ULOG
