I am wondering how shotwell detects duplicates?
When I take a photo with my camera it saves both raw and jpg.
I have opened a raw file in an external editor (ufraw), edited it, then
saved the edit producing a jpg file of the edited photo. But when I try
to import the new jpg into shotwell it claims it to be a duplicate of an
existing photo, despite the fact I have changed a variety of values in
ufraw and cropped it -- so it doesn't look anything like the existing
raw and jpg files.
Other than that I am still getting used to using shotwell, but am
finding it good to work with.
