Just to make sure: the RAW file and its paired JPEG have the same
basename, minus the file extension (i.e., "DSCF001.CR2" and
"DSCF001.JPG") right? And you're importing both files in the same
import operation right? One other thing to try is to run Shotwell with
logging turned on and to reproduce this behavior such that any debug
output associated with the error is captured in the log file. You can
do this by setting the environment variable SHOTWELL_LOG=1 before
running Shotwell. This will create a diagnostic log file at
~/.cache/shotwell/shotwell.log.
