:-) Ha! That bug report looks familiar. It might be connected, but I'm
not sure (yet). The only difference is that my pathname is slightly
longer (I've gone from /images to /store1/images).
But it should be an easy one to test. When I get the chance I'll import
a short-name jpeg and see if it makes a difference.
